Taylor hails from the motherland of Austin, TX. Raised by hippies, Taylor was exposed to the mystical art of tie-dying from a young age. He was raised alongside 3 younger yet equally stunning brothers and quickly gained many pounds of lean muscle mass as a young boy. Taylor has always shared an inherent affinity for both nature and physical activity. Combining the two, he has eaten a fare share of less romantic energy bars throughout his life. Seven years ago Taylor met Mystical Catamount alongside the San Marcos river where they soon became lovers. Since then the two have shared an amazing life of traveling and constant learning. Taylor has a Bachelors degree in Exercise Sports Science and a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Two years ago, Thunderbird Energetica was birthed in efforts to provide affordable and healthy energy bars using real ingredients. The future….podiums.
Which bar that gives you the most energy?
I have an intimate relationship with the Cashew Fig Carrot bar. The creativity smashes the paradigm of romance-less corporate food. Not only does it tickle my pallet but it fuels my quads on many long bike rides over the stunning Texas Hill Country. I eat at least one a day and I am often cognitively and physically stimulated beyond imagination.
Spirit animal:
The Jaguar is a silent creature, nocturnal in nature. Passionate and seductive, jaguar possesses a lethal kiss. The Jaguar has the power of 10,000 domesticated cats and runs wild like the Amazon. Confident and one within her surroundings, the Jaguar owns the jungle and the jungle belongs to no-one! Highly tuned sensory organs protrude from my muzzle, whiskers that penetrate all physical matter. I can feel the jungle breathing underneath my paws. A provider, the jaguar raises her young kitties with love and assumes the role of model. I am jaguar, hear me meow.
Most stunning body part:
Mustache. Clearly.
Sport of choice:
Cycling, running fast, Sprint and Olympic triathlons.
Favorite past time:
Admiring my chocolate lab's hind quarters as she prances around Lady Bird Lake while the Central Texas sun tans my loins.
Inspiration:
Double rainbows, creative writing and freedom of expression, mountain lions (Catamounts), the wild, tan-lines, measuring and documenting my dog's quadricep hypertrophy.
